I just spoke to a Canadian Fisheries research Officer.

One of the questions poised, Have you/Canada Fisheries any data to provide anecdotal or official regarding rising tidal waters due to melting ice fields/glaciers etc..

No.
None.
anecdotal evidence, if any is maybe like 1/4"..

Receding Glacier/Ice reveals both plant and animal life was present prior to the Ice age which cometh IMO quickly due to impact of comet fragment in Greenland 12,800 years ago known as Younger Dryas which insta froze plants and mammoths wiping out most mega fauna.

About 11K years ago temps again warmed.
During the 1800 or so years, I posit that Comet, which is rock and Ice, that Earth captured lots of this ice in atmosphere, which turned to rain and was the cause of waters rising 400' globally wiping out ancient Cities and shorelines.

Is there any record of extended rainfall in any culture or belief system?

Note the far Right end of the line,, we are below normal temps now... and have been for Centuries.
